My passion for helping others has always been a strong force in my life. I have developed a passion for advocating change in the culture that distances us from our trusting our true intuition around food. The nutrition and health industry can be a tricky field to navigate because there is so much information out there. I am a Health At Every Size™️ educated provider who takes a non-weight focused approach to nutrition and health. I aim to empower my clients to achieve a healthy relationship with food and body so that they can live their life to its fullest.

Physical activity and movement is so important in healing the body and mind and managing your health.  I believe in joyful movement and love all things active.  I have a passion for sports and grew up playing field hockey where I continued my career as a collegiate athlete and later in club sports.  Now, in my spare time, you can find me outside hiking, kayaking, walking, or running.  I find that doing activities that I enjoy, help with my overall well-being and connect my mental, emotional, and physical health.

I am an experienced weight lifter and former personal trainer at the University of Maine. Lifting weights has shown me confidence, perseverance, and physical as well as mental strength. From running half-marathons, competing in bodybuilding and now currently powerlifting I have enjoyed trying new ways to challenge myself over time. Aside from that, I enjoy leisurely strolls on the beach and in the woods. I feel strongly that movement should be something you enjoy and that makes you feel good, because if it's not fun, then why do it?

EDUCATION

I received both my Bachelor's and Master's of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Maine, Orono and completed a 1,200+ hour Dietetic internship in hospitals and other settings within the Southern Maine area. I  currently practice as a Registered Dietitian with the New England Eating Disorder program in Saco.
