PASSION FOR FOOD

Savoring Memories

My love for nutrition began to thrive in college.  I knew I wanted to go into the medical field but it wasn’t until I took my first nutrition class when everything seemed to click.  The dietetics profession is such a fascinating field in the sense that no matter what a person’s background may be, we will always have something in common: food.  We celebrate with food, we mourn with food, we catch up with old friends over food, and we heal with food.

"I am a Medical Nutrition Therapist and Certified Diabetes Educator.   I work with people of all ages to find balance in nutrition and foods that they love.  I meet clients where they are at to make easy, sustainable changes to live a happy, healthy life.  I never take a one-size fits all approach and understand that there are many moving parts to everyone’s day.  My goal is to help you make food choices easy and fun." -Jill

PASSION FOR LIFE

Savoring Movement

Physical activity and movement is so important in healing the body and mind and managing your health.  I believe in joyful movement and love all things active.  I have a passion for sports and grew up playing field hockey where I continued my career as a collegiate athlete and later in club sports.  Now, in my spare time, you can find me outside hiking, kayaking, walking, or running.  I find that doing activities that I enjoy, help with my overall well-being and connect my mental, emotional, and physical health.

EDUCATION

I attended Merrimack College for two years and finished my undergrad at the University of Maine in Orono with a Bachelor’s in Food Science and Human Nutrition.  I completed a 1200+ hour internship at Oregon State University and then had the pleasure to work for a Native American Tribe as their Lead Registered Dietitian and Diabetes Program Coordinator.
